Books aren't written- they're rewritten. Including your own. It is one of the hardest things to accept, especially after the seventh rewrite hasn't quite done it.
Indeed, ladies, it often feels like a never-ending process trying to bring my long fiction to a place where I believe it is 'ready'. Then I receive feedback that helps me realise that I've still a way to go. Patience, and yes, Barbara, a 'healthy' dose of obsession, helps keep the pain at an acceptable level...ish! ;-) Thanks for dropping by. x
